A New Era of Competitive Play
The “Flashback: Genesis” tournament is the first to feature the up-to-date GU Formats game modes. The tournament, which will take place on the GU Stakes platform, will feature high-stakes battles as players compete for infrequent cards and a total prize pool of 5,000 $GODS Tokens. Notably, Alborax Mythic Variant, a powerful, one-of-a-kind collectible card, will be up for grabs.
Tournament Structure
The tournament will be open to 256 players and will consist of eight knockout rounds, each played in a best-of-three format. Players will need to develop a strategy and adapt to it as they progress through the rounds.and the competition is becoming more and more fierce and the prize pool is becoming more and more valuable.
The Genesis card set will be the center of attention, ensuring that players’ cards remain valuable contenders in any competition. Other sets allowed on the battlefield include Etherbots, Core, and Welcome.
Registration and participation
Registration for the tournament opened on September 4 at 9:00 AM ET and will close on September 13 at 9:59 AM ET, just before the tournament begins. Players will be selected in order of application.with their positions perceptible in a public bracket. Matches will be announced in the Open Tournaments section of the GU Stakes platform.

The Flashback: Genesis tournament will kick off on the heels of the launch of Formats, an invigorating up-to-date transient feature that introduces evolving game modes and up-to-date gameplay mechanics.
