Honkai: Star RailwayUpdate 2.5 is releasing a day earlier than usual, meaning we get novel content a whole 24 hours early! Hooray! This update finally marks the start of the Luminary Wardance Ceremony on Xianzhou Luofu, alongside three novel characters: Feixiao, Lingsha, and Moze.
Below we explain when Honkai: Star Railway maintenance will start and end around the time of the 2.5 release. We’ve also added some details about what to expect Honkai: Star Railway patch 2.5.
What time is Honkai: Star Rail closed for maintenance?
Update 2.5 will be released a day earlier than usual every six weeks, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for that. Honkai: Star Railway will be down for maintenance Monday, September 9 or Tuesday, September 10 (depending on time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:
Burn your fuel before the maintenance starts if you want, but keep in mind that the novel version of the Battle Pass will go live right after the game launches, so you can put it on hold.
What time does Honkai: Star Rail version 2.5 start?
Honkai: Star Railway should return from maintenance with version 2.5 on the following dates:
The servers may come out earlier or later depending on how maintenance is going, but these are the approximate times that 2.5 should be up. Hoyoverse is usually pretty good about keeping up with maintenance hours. We don’t usually have extended maintenance, but sometimes it ends earlier! In fact, it’s quite common for the game to go up an hour earlier, so keep that in mind, but don’t too excited.
What’s novel in Honkai: Star Rail version 2.5?
This patch will introduce three novel characters: Feixiao (Wind Hunt, 5 stars), Lingsha (Fire Abundance, 5 stars), and Moze (Lightning Hunt, 4 stars). This patch will also feature the grand Wardance ceremony on Xianzhou Luofu and potentially conclude the storyline related to the prison from the previous patch.
The Guardian Ceremony event is the focus of this update, but there will also be some novel things coming to the Divergent Universe, such as novel planar ornaments to earn. Hurrah.
