Welcome to a Tuesday full of great gaming deals and (coming soon) a major quarter-century celebration. Today we have a pretty even mix of the best pre-order prices on the hottest stuff right around the corner and some older stuff you should never have ignored. That said, this tactic definitely worked out well in the financial department, Patient One. So kudos!
In retro news: I’m celebrating my 25th birthday Pokémon Yellow: Pikachu Special Edition. Although I’ve played on all cartridge pins before Blue Last year I couldn’t resist it Pokémon series– inspired by the rejig of the originals. Mainly because it had everyone’s favorite electro-rat as a companion (plus distorted sounds!), and I heard that this version would also let me utilize Game Boy Printer to generate a Diploma for catching them all. By the way, I still very much plan to export these references and utilize them on my CV to prove that I am the best (like no one ever was).

Far Cry 6

Far Cry 6 is one of the best games I’ve had with the series in almost a decade. Its imaginative weaponry means that taking down an outpost, ransacking a convoy, or even just taking a ride with a buddy has never been better.

Legion of Guardians

A economical game that holds up well and is quite revolutionary in its concept. Ubisoft’s open-world hacker series tried an compelling recent direction by letting you swap between the denizens of near-future London almost at will. 8/10, great.
