Sometimes the best way I have found to assess the quality of a P2E project at TON is to look at what the team has worked on or is currently working on.
These are projects that have been successful in the past and are now focusing their attention on the TON blockchain.
Why is it so vital?
Well, large players who have a track record of delivering great products know how vital it is to keep their community ecstatic.
They’re not here to fool around – they want to grow and they understand that motivating users is a key part of that process.
So when these established projects move to TON, there is a good chance they will offer attractive airdrops to attract their community.
Take Animoca for example.
If you don’t know, Animoca is a giant in the blockchain gaming world, known for creating and investing in some of the most popular decentralized games and projects in the metaverse.
They recently announced a massive $20 million partnership with TON blockchain.
Goal? Increase the number of $TON users to 1.6 billion.
The partnership includes a reserve fund to drive adoption through incentives such as The Open League, hackathons, and accelerator programs.
Animoca has produced successful projects such as Mocaverse, REVV Motorsport, The Sandbox and Anichess.
They know how to build and grow a community.
Given their history, it wouldn’t be surprising if they implemented some weapons drops or other incentives as part of their cooperation with TON.
So if you’re on the hunt for potential drops, keeping an eye on Animoc’s activities on TON could prove to be a clever move.
Before we go any further, let’s take a quick look at the Hipo Gang game created by Hipo Finance.
Hipo Finance is a decentralized staking protocol on the TON blockchain. It allows users to stake Toncoins (TON) to earn rewards while maintaining liquidity through a token called hTON.
Here’s how it works:
You stake TON, receive hTON tokens in return, and can continue to employ these tokens in other DeFi applications while earning rewards.
They also prepared a $HPO governance token as a bonus for contributors.
Here’s why it matters:
DeFi governance tokens like $HPO typically have value beyond the platform they are on. They can often be traded or used in other DeFi projects, giving them real-world value.
While $HPO hasn’t fully launched yet, it’s the next large step on the Hipo Finance roadmap. The timing is captivating, especially since Hipo Gang is already playable.
There’s a chance that when $HPO does release, it’ll be tied to the Hipo Gang — maybe even as part of an airdrop for early adopters.
