2XKO isn’t out yet, and one player has already tattooed the game on his fingers, so we hope Riot doesn’t change the name again!

2XKO hasn’t released yet, at the time of writing it’s targeting a vague 2025 release window, and the gamer already has the game tattooed on his fingers. We hope that it will stay that way and the name will not change!

Nitten, a longtime supporter of the game for years, posted their tattoos on Twitter. The name of the game – 2XKO – was permanently etched on four of his five fingers for the world to see. Certainly a sign of sacrifice. Video game tattoos are not uncommon among gamers, with a affluent history in the medium, but these games are usually classics. From what we’ve seen, this is the first 2XKO tattoo to exist (unless one of the creators outdid Nitten).

The name itself – 2XKO – turned out to be controversial when it was announced. Previously called Project L, the up-to-date name of the game was met with mixed reception, even if it was tied to the basics of 2v2 gameplay. Regardless, it seems to be holding up. 2XKO is currently in its pre-launch hype phase, having completed its closed alpha and packed with players, up-to-date announcements have been arriving on a steady schedule over the past few months. With eyes set on Worlds later this year as the game’s next major event, the pre-release community remains hungry for up-to-date updates.

As for Nitten, he clearly took advantage of the opportunity to blaze a trail in this game. Let’s hope that 2XKO stays good and that no one will watch his fingers when combos inevitably get lost. Who knows? Maybe the tattoo will be some sort of supernatural performance boon? Only time will tell.
