Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed, a video game sequel to last year’s game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem animated film, has its first trailer and release date. The game was first announced in September of last year.
A Heartful of Games is developing a game that retains the stylized, Spider-Verse-inspired visuals of the hit film. The story takes place after the events of the film and sees Leo, Raph, Donny, and Mikey battling a modern wave of mutants attacking New York.
As we previously discussed in our exclusive preview from earlier this year, Mutant Mayhem is a third-person action/platformer, and each turtle has their own playstyle. The game also supports local co-op for up to two players.
TMNT: Mutants Unleashed is due out on October 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The game will also be getting a fancy Collector’s Edition, which you can check out here . Mutants Unleashed is one of several TMNT games to come out in recent years (and the third in 2024 alone, following Wrath of the Mutants and the Switch port of Splintered Fate ), and you can read about the series’ full history in video games in our in-depth retrospective .
