Winger is certainly one of the most stimulating positions in FC 26, where quick speed and technical dribbling are the biggest advantages of a revamped meta that has made standing attacks less effective and ball protection much more vital.
Furthermore, the EA Sports FC 26 tactics meta rewards players for filling the midfield with bodies, which creates more passing opportunities and creates overloads. This makes the inside striker role for wingers incredibly effective in the game, which in turn means that your wingers are as likely to appear in front of goal as the main striker. That’s why you need to stock your squad with wide players who are not only athletically gifted, but also chilly enough at boxing out to provide a killer finish when needed.
So you’re lucky that there are plenty of great winger options available in FC 26, including many recent names that may be less familiar to even returning stalwarts.

However, if you’re open to overpowered players who are also a bit older (and you should be, there are a lot of really chilly “win now” players), here are our picks for the best wingers to sign up for EA Sports FC 26.

The richest clubs in the world with the biggest budgets can make great signings that immediately make a huge difference on the wings. The third son of Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone, Giuliano Simeonehe is extremely good at the game, with enough speed, stamina and technical ability to contribute significantly to your attack for 90 minutes in every single match.
For even more speed, Karim Adeyemi has been a great addition in the center of attack for many yearsbut in FC 26 he maintains his extreme pace (96 in both stats) and combines it with great dribbling and finishing, especially for someone who has +5 Potential points, which he still realizes.
Elsewhere, Christos Tzolis was linked with a number of top Premier League clubs during the summer and it’s simple to see why. His 20 goals for Club Brugge in all competitions make him an attractive prospect for regular clubs looking to make huge profits if he fulfills his 87 potential. Fortunately, he’s also great in the game, and his plethora of powerful playing styles make him an ideal center forward.
Similar, but with a slightly more affordable price, is Diego Lopez from Valencia. Solid speed and agility, combined with excellent dribbling and finishing (aided by the Low Driven PlayStyle), create a player who really fits well into the FC 26 meta.
It’s safe and sound to say that the news about Baris Yilmaz has spread. Many people have been talking about his performance in the Champions League against Liverpool, but we haven’t seen a player with such an insane physical profile since the likes of Denis Zakaria and Renato Sanches a few years ago. Can you argue with 93 pace and 90 physical endurance? Definitely not when it comes to the Low Driven Shot, Relentless, Bruiser, Rapid and Quick Step playstyles. It’s like someone putting their player into Pro Clubs in Career Mode.
The days of excessive pace with Gabriel Agbonlarhor, Alexander Esswein and Mohamed Tchite may be a distant memory even for the “uncles” in the FC community, but it’s tough to resist recommending literally the fastest players in the game when it comes to signing wingers. Fortunately, they’re also far from one-trick ponies. Gabriel Silva in Santa Clara has a 97 sprint speed, 95 acceleration and a quick step+but also 83 Potential with decent dribbling and finishing, making him perfect for virtually any team that can afford him, either as a striker or starter.
Alternatively, Jean-Matteo Bahoya also has 97 sprint speeds (incidentally, he is the fastest when playing with Mbappe) but with even more potential at 86 and dribbling at 78. Elite athletic ability with enough potential to become technically elite soon? What more could you ask for?
Well, you can ask for more PlayStyles and that’s the point Catamo genes brings to the table. He is characterized not only by high speed, agility and dribbling, but also by a low shot, which means that literally any player using the style of play can kill the ball with a killer finish.
But that doesn’t mean that players without it aren’t still good. Assane Diao has 90 pace, 78 dribbling and 79 finishing with Finesse Shot PlayStyle to bring a touch of class to the inside striker role at a more affordable price.
However, for lower league teams with more narrow budgets, it is still possible to acquire really good wingers with exceptional stats and potential for a relatively modest investment. The only problem is that they tend to have worse stamina than the top talent. For example, Julien Duranville from Dortmund has incredible pace and agility and a powerful dribbling level of 87which is unbelievably only 72 in total. However, he only has 55 stamina, which makes him stronger as an impact player. Although it has +15 Growth Potential that can be added quickly.
Como’s Jayden Addai and RB Leipzig’s Tidiam Gomis have a similar story. only with less crazy stats, but they’re also half the price.
At last, you can get Justin Lerma for a really tiny feethe latest talent from Ecuador after Kendry Paez was signed by Chelsea in the summer. He’s been really useful right off the bat, has great stamina and speed for a 17-year-old, and has massive +21 growth potential to support him play better in front of goal.
