- Teamfight Tactics introduces first-of-its-kind PvE mode
- In Tocker’s Trials you will face hordes of enemies and six bosses
- This limited-time experimental mode will be available exclusively in the Magic ‘n Mayhem bundle
League of Legends’ mobile spin-off Teamfight Tactics is set to introduce an all-new experimental PvE mode following the recent release of Magic ‘n Mayhem. It’s a massive departure from a game and universe that was primarily focused on PvP. With that in mind, what are Tocker’s Trials all about? Let’s take a closer look.
First of all, it’s critical to note that this will be a limited-time mode that focuses on the current content introduced in Magic ‘n Mayhem. You’ll have access to the current roster of champions and upgrades, earning gold and leveling up just like in the regular game, but amulets won’t appear.
In Tocker’s Trials, you have to beat 30 rounds and six bosses, all with only three lives! Luckily, you won’t have to wait long, because it’s a solo mode where you choose when you’re ready to face your opponent. But for those who like to show off, you don’t have to worry, because you’ll also have the opportunity to show off your best score to your friends on the leaderboards.
There is chaos
And that’s not all, as Tocker’s Trials will also feature Chaos Mode. Details are sparse, but once you’ve completed Normal Mode, you’ll be able to take on this novel variation for yourself. All the TFT team has revealed is that “there’s a reason it’s called that.” It sounds suitably sinister.
Tocker’s Trials will launch with update 14.17 on August 27 and will remain in the game until September 24.
