Using knife IN Black Ops 6 is a bit more challenging than other Call of Duty titles. You’ll often see other players running around with knives, baseball bats, and even power drills, but when you try to melee, it only hits other players with the butt of a gun. Moreover, melee combat does not eliminate other players in one hit.

By default, the knife switch is set to hold on tightso you need to hold down the melee button – “V” on PC or the right analog stick on console.
You can change the way the knife is extracted in the settings:
Hold on, Mel was the default setting, so you have to hold down the melee button. Weapon Cycle will add the knife to your weapon rotation so you can scroll through your weapon to reach the knife.
On PC you can apply Dedicated keyboard shortcutwhich will allow you to access the knife via the keychain. However, you will need to set a key in the settings that allows you to switch to melee weapons.
