It has been a while since our last update and we felt it was significant to update our community on where we are and what to expect. This article will cover the latest events, recent milestones, upcoming goals, and more.
Our team has been working diligently on several key aspects of the Deck of Cosmos project. We are making great progress on the beta version of the game, improving our quest platform, and finalizing the site ranking. Additionally, intensive preparations for the $DOCP airdrop event are underway, both in-game and out-of-game. More details about the airdrop token can be found in our recent $DOCP article (here).
We are proud to announce that we have achieved several key milestones:
- Finalizing game assets: All cards, potions, buffs, and debuffs in the game are now finalized and ready for integration.
- Survival mode gameplay: Successfully created a Survival Mode game flow that will feature an Airdrop event.
- In-game leaderboard: The game introduces a leaderboard to track player progress and encourage competition.
- New login page: We have integrated a up-to-date login page, which increases security and comfort of utilize.
- Card design overhaul: All cards feature a cleaner, more productive design for improved gameplay clarity and aesthetics.
- Camera improvements: Significant improvements have been made to the in-game camera system to provide smoother navigation and a more complete gameplay experience.
- Game optimization and compression: We’ve optimized the game by reducing its size from 1GB to just 350MB. This, along with reduced CPU and RAM requirements, ensures a smoother gaming experience across devices.
Our recent technical progress focuses on optimizing performance and introducing up-to-date features to improve the user experience. Finalizing game assets, creating up-to-date game modes, and continuous improvements to the game’s performance are key areas we have focused on. These improvements not only improve the gameplay but also ensure that the game runs efficiently across platforms.

One of the challenges we encountered was issues with card visibility. These have now been resolved and we are making steady progress towards the beta version. The adaptability and problem-solving skills of our team ensured that development continued smoothly, even in the face of unexpected obstacles.
Looking ahead, we have some exhilarating events on the horizon:
- New UI design: Our design team is working on a up-to-date user interface for the game that will improve the user experience and make navigation more intuitive.
- Professional Website Update: Following the UI redesign, we will rebuild our website to reflect the professionalism and appeal of the game.
- Preparations for the drop and beta launch: We are preparing our website for the upcoming airdrop and beta launch, including features like login, wallet connection, leaderboards, ranking, Galactic Quest integration, and $DOCP balance tracking for in-game spending.
- Monster Initiations: We’re introducing monster initiations to improve strategic gameplay and allow players to better plan their moves.
- General Game Improvements: To provide our players with the best possible experience, we are constantly improving and fine-tuning gameplay and existing features.
- Global in-game chat: We are integrating a global chat feature into the game, which will foster communication and camaraderie between players.
