There are many ways to obtain Parcel Hourglasses and Wonder Hourglasses, so be sure to play every aspect of the game to earn them. It’s possible that future limited-time features and events will also grant hourglasses, but they will be available at launch.
Below are all the methods we know of to obtain Hourglass Parcels and Miracles Pocket Pokémon TCG and explain how to utilize the hourglasses.
How to utilize hourglasses in Pokémon TCG Pocket
To utilize Bundle Hourglasses, select the bundle you want to open and simply select the “open pack” or “open 10 packs” button (depending on how many hourglasses you have and want to spend). This will ask you to spend Hourglasses to open the pack, provided you have it in reserve.
For Miraculous Hourglasses, you need to do the same, only for Miracle choices. Select the pack you want to select a wonder from and follow the instructions to replenish the required amount of wonder stamina. The game will automatically set the appropriate number of Miraculous Hourglasses to utilize to start the selection.
You will receive a four-pack of hourglasses daily missions. The missions themselves are not too challenging and you only need to complete three of the five missions presented to receive your daily dose of hourglasses. To complete it, you must do three of the following:
- Open 1 refill pack
- Open 2 booster packs
- Wonderful 1st time choice
- Take part in 1 battle
Complete additional missions

These missions include things you’ll do naturally throughout the game, so you don’t have to go too far away to complete them.
Clear battle guide and solo card battles
If you complete the quest, you will receive a diminutive handful of Package Hourglasses battle tutorial and then solo card battles which will come later. In each of the seven tutorials, you will receive two hourglasses, for a total of 12 pieces.
There are seven solo battles in each difficulty level, and each level awards a different number of Package Hourglasses (the higher the difficulty level, the more you will receive). The only exception is the Expert difficulty level, which has only six battles. The prizes are as follows:
- Step Battle Beginner Battles: 2 Hourglass Packs each
- Intermediate Battle Level: 3 Hourglass Packs each
- Step-up Advanced Battle: 5 packs of hourglasses each
- Enhanced Combat Expertise: 7 packs of Hourglasses each
That said, you won’t be able to remove them all at once. While we were able to get through the beginner battles fairly quickly with the early cards, the later sets require more strategy and more cohesive decks (rather than just combining what we got from the first few packs).
Buy them with store tickets
You can buy any type of hourglass in the store for two people buy tickets everyone. You can get shop tickets from other players who will thank you, show off your collection, and complete solo battles. Each solo battle also has specific challenges that will give you extra tickets to the store, so be sure to pay attention to what you need to do before jumping into battle.
Level up by fighting and collecting
Each time you level up you will receive a handful of hourglasses, which is not much different from the above methods in that you have to fight and open packs to gain XP. That being said, if you’ve noticed that hourglasses have appeared in your inventory and you don’t know where they’re coming from, it’s probably due to leveling.
Collect cards from thematic collections
By collecting specific cards, you will complete sets that will sometimes reward you with hourglasses. You can see them by opening the mission menu and selecting the “Themed Collections” button in the lower right corner. Some missions are listed, but a few are hidden and won’t appear until you complete them. For comparison, Serebii.net has a useful list of all of them Thematic collections (even hidden ones).
For a few dollars: Get them from premium missions
If you’re willing to pay for the $9.99 monthly premium subscription, you can earn up to 11 Hourglass Packs and eight Wonder Hourglasses for completing premium missions. Missions seem to reset every month (with the next month being December since the game came out on October 30th and giving 48 hours to complete a monthly set of missions seems cruel).
